Hi I'm Sara. I'm 23. Was banded on the 16th of July. It would be nice to have someone to talk to, hang out with and walk with around me. My family is being really good about being supportive its just weird talking to them about it cause I have to break everything down so that they understand. Hi Sara, Check with your docs office to see if there are any support groups in your area....if not, ours meets at 6:00 PM every Tuesday and is open to anyone that has had lap band surgery. We meet at Fort Worth Lap Band - 2501 Parkview Ave. Fort Worth, TX. Good Luck!
