Recommended Posts

I have united healthcare I was wondering if anyone has had trouble getting their insurance to pay for fills? if it is out of pocket about how much does a fill cost?

My insurance is covering my fills, but if I was to pay out of pocket it would be $150.00 a fill. They use a fluoroscope and they numb the area first, I'm sure that is considered in the price. I have Champ VA for my insurance. I've had no problem with them paying for my fills.

My fills were covered by my insurance through Aetna. The only out of pocket expense was the 15% copay until my annual deductible was met. Now all services are covered at 100%.

If I were to have to pay for the fill myself, it would be $200.00.

I think my doc charges $150 cash for fills, but my insurance covers the visit as a specialist visit which for me is a $50 copay.
