strwbrrysarah 4 Posted July 21, 2013 What should I wear to the hospital? A dress? night clothes? I want to be comfortable!
skb123 308 Posted July 21, 2013 I plan on wearing a lose fitting maxi dress. Not worried about going to it's afterwards that will matter! 1 dylanmiles23 reacted to this
KAATNS 1,473 Posted July 21, 2013 I just did sweat pants, t-shirt and a light jacket so I could skip the bra on the way home. 2 dylanmiles23 and kll724 reacted to this

tigers1998 35 Posted July 21, 2013 I wore my biggest scrub set. But my advice, wear something comfortable and forego the bra. You wont feel like putting anything on afterwards. I guarantee you that.
GoingforGoal 1,734 Posted July 21, 2013 Something lose and comfortable. Swelling is common so wear your grandma panties, a tank instead of bra even slippers opposed to shoes. I wore sweats (oversized) easy on and easy off appropriate for going in and out of the hospital with. 1 dylanmiles23 reacted to this
aviva1979 375 Posted July 21, 2013 Amen to slip on shoes! I also had my sister bring m a sports bra the day I had surgery. I'm pretty large chested and one of my breasts was pressing on an incision. The nurse said so long as the bra band didn't press on the incision it was fine to wear and was a life saver. I've worn a sports bra or soft cup bra every day since surgery (I'm 10 days post op) - can do underwire yet. 1 kll724 reacted to this

I guess after reading this-- flip flops and a maxi (i swear by these on a lazy day-- you can get away no bra even sans underwear, haha) or sweats! GOOD LUCK to all of us who are still awaiting surgery day

When youve come out of surgery' date=' ask the nurse for the HOSPITAL PANTIES they are very comfortable (ask for a few, so you can take some home)[/quote'] Haha. I went without in the hospital. There was one nurse who was very concerned and followed me around holding my Johnny closed when I walked. Having my sister have to basically put my underwear on me when I was discharged was an experience i could have lived without. 1 KAATNS reacted to this
GuyMontag 1,264 Posted July 24, 2013 I think I wore sweats or shorts with a tshirt. Nothing special. Comfort is a must and I think they recommend a drawstring so you can keep your clothes loose.
