TLC076 8 Posted July 20, 2013 Hi I had mine done 4 yrs ago and port site Still hurts specially when I get refilled as sometimes it decides to flip. I was hoping when I was rebanded on Monday due to a slip had it moved but wasn't so lucky. So yes it can be uncomfortable. My Dr always tells me to talk to it before each refill. The Doc is great but the nutritional consultant can't tell me how to deal with the head hunger. Please advice! I only get dietary considerations from these two peeps! stept04 465 Posted July 20, 2013 You two are HILARIOUS! Mine was flipped 4 weeks after surgery so my port was revised. The Doc is great but the nutritional consultant can't tell me how to deal with the head hunger. Please advice! I only get dietary considerations from these two peeps! I keep sugar-free Popsicle around for when I get head hunger and just need something to help it go away. I may eat 2 or 3, but it seems to work. Another thing is sugar-free Jello I don't like it as much but if I'm desperate. I'm thinking of checking in to sugar-free cool whip to see how many calories it has. If it is not to many I could add it to my Jello. Good luck. ~~~Stephanie
stept04 465 Posted July 20, 2013 Mine still hurts and it has been 8 weeks. It is a sharp pain if I bend a certain way sometimes, not real bad though. ~~~Stephanie
