Fills with flouroscopy

I've read lots of folks recommend fills with floro. My surgeon's practice only does the scan after surgery and if there is an issue. Should I be advocating for more frequent scans?

My opinion, YES! Always...unless there's a medical reason to avoid the x-ray.

Why would you want somebody doing something blindly/guessing when they can see it?

Sure it costs a bit more, but so worth it....again, just from my experience.

I've never had a fill with fluro and dont think it's really necessary if you have a competent surgeon who is working with you to acheive your mutual goals.

I have heard of those Dr's who only fill .2 at a time (or some other equally ridiculious amount) from the beginning for what seems like a way to make more money due to more frequent visits.
