runt 26 Posted July 19, 2013 Thanks. I was wondering about this. My hubby and kids love steakhouse buffets. But if I can only eat 1/2 cup of food I am not paying $10.00. Lol 1 Debbie3sons reacted to this
Lady VS 1,147 Posted July 19, 2013 The foods that are generally on the kids menu are things like mystery chicken nuggets' date=' pizza, and spaghetti, Mac and cheese.... Not exactly healthy for a banded person. Why would you want to eat those foods?[/quote'] It depends on the restaurant. If it's Mexican then a taco plate is all I need. If it's ihop, again a kids size portion is enough. At other restaurants I usually order a regular meal and take the rest home. 1 Debbie3sons reacted to this
gowalking 10,790 Posted July 20, 2013 Thanks. I was wondering about this. My hubby and kids love steakhouse buffets. But if I can only eat 1/2 cup of food I am not paying $10.00. Lol Buffets are bad bad places for many of us. I only will go once or twice a year to a Japanese buffet my family really enjoys. I stick with sashimi which is very low in calories and I do OK. But a steakhouse buffet is like stepping on a landmine and I'd be afraid to even walk into one of those joints. If you can do that, kudos to you..you're a braver person than I am for sure. blondegal_ 1,028 Posted July 20, 2013 I got the card though I have never used it. I do carry it in my wallet next to my insurance card and ID. On the off chance of an emergency, if someone is looking for ID they'll also see I have a Lapband. 1 Debbie3sons reacted to this

CAishaGA 15 Posted July 20, 2013 www.lapband.com/register I believe is the correct site. You will need to know what kind of band you have: APS or APL or some other variations.
