Cassy_327@yahoo. 0 Posted July 16, 2013 How do I lose the last 20 pounds? I've been doing this for 3 years. I wouldn't change my journey this is the best decision I made for my health. I just can't get those last 20 pounds off. Watching what I eat exercising, getting the adjustment but I still can't lose the last 20 times. I'm frustrated. 2muchfun 8,927 Posted July 16, 2013 Hard to advise since no one knows what you've done so far to not lose? I'm about 25 lbs away from my goal weight and it's hard, and it's been the same for one year. I know for me, I'll have to hit it hard for 4 months with many/mostly extreme low calorie days and 5-6 days a week of hard biking and/or other exercising(hours and hours). I know I can do it, I'm just finding it difficult to make the commitment? Seems like every other week it's a party here, a birthday there, relatives in town for a week and they eat like pigs. So many distractions, it's very difficult. So, if you can clear your calendar, commit to maybe 1000 cal/day and work out an average of 6-10 hours a week, you should be able to do it? imo tmf 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! reacted to this
carol285 145 Posted July 16, 2013 Not knowing your stats could it be that at least 10lbs of that could be excess skin from your weight loss? I know of several successful banders that had various degrees of skin removal surgery, lifts etc that easily accounted for between 10-20lbs depending on the persons body 2 2muchfun and ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
NWgirl 574 Posted July 17, 2013 Is the goal weight realistic for your body type and age? 1 2muchfun reacted to this
CHEZNOEL 4,061 Posted July 17, 2013 Update your profile. Without knowing where you are and where you have been advice would be shot in the dark!
♕ajtexas♕ 3,771 Posted July 17, 2013 I would suggest a couple of things: 1. weigh/measure your food. Your eyes are not that good at sizes (at least mine aren't). 2. log everything you put in your mouth 3. log your exercise 4. log your Water intake This will show you where you need to change. chances are you are eating more calories that you think.... Remember Protein first, then veggies, then carbs. Are you doing this? Loosing those last few pounds is extremely hard and frustrating. Just don't give up! It will be worth it!!! 1 2muchfun reacted to this
