stept04 465 Posted July 15, 2013 I would suggest just taking it easy, small bites and chew real well. Do that every time you start a new food. I say this because I did not do that and wish I had because I ended up stuck, but it was my own fault my bites were to big and I did not chew well every time I introduced new foods. I thought because I had not had a fill I would have no restriction, but I did with certain foods. I also though since the soft foods went down so easy I would not have a problem either, but I did. So just take it slow, small and chew. ~~~Stephanie
cassandramontes 112 Posted July 15, 2013 I start solid food today I'm a little scared. That I may gain some weight Ideas anyone One must realist that after surgery that weight that you lose is mainly Water. That's why it goes so fast. don't be alarmed if you gain a few lbs. back. As long as you stick to the plan and exercise you should do fine. I had my surgery June 14th and when I started back solid foods I did gain back 6 lbs. it is mainly due to the bad being open and not fill and I could go back to my old eating habits. Let me take that back not old eating habits because I make healthy choices now but I am able to get down more. I am so looking forward to my fill Wednesday
