renewed_mind 7 Posted July 15, 2013 They taste so nasty to me what flavor do you have?
KAATNS 1,473 Posted July 15, 2013 Frosty chocolate. I don't like the powder, but the ready-to-drink ones taste like chocolate milk to me. I also like GNC Total Lean vanilla Bean. Good luck! 1 Sharpie reacted to this
Sharpie 3,306 Posted July 15, 2013 I like muscle milk , lean shakes from GNC and pure protein.. I don't do a lot of them unless I get a fill.. but sometimes if I'm in a rush I will drink one for breakfast....
LadyMaggie 145 Posted July 15, 2013 After reading several posts about the same topic (Protein Powder), I have decided it is an acquired taste. What one person loves, another does not. For example, I could not tolerate Bariatric Advantage Protein Powder. I tried three different flavors and wasted a lot of money. The one I do like (and, again, others may not) is the UNflavored powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury. I add it to my morning O.J. or yogurt. For shakes, I use the Dole Shakers (fruit flavored) and add the Unjury Protein.< /p> Keep experimenting and hopefully you will find one that works. I, myself, am a protein snob ---> so I completely understand your frustration 1 SueBee01 reacted to this
fgcchevy 3 Posted July 15, 2013 My doctor told me to get EAS carb control, u can find a 24 pack at Sams for about $27. They have chocolate and vanilla and they are pretty good. Hth
Toast4U 6 Posted July 16, 2013 My favorite Protein Shakes are the Syntrax Nectar powders. They're shakes are really good. You can order a sample pack at BJ's Bariatrics. You'll be pleasantly surprised! Don't forget to put the Water in first, then add the powder. It mixes better that way. 1 Blayden2029 reacted to this
Flylovesong 24 Posted July 16, 2013 I love the premier nutrition Protein Shakes from costco. They have vanilla and chocolate. I've tried a lot of shakes being 4 years out and they are by far the best tasting ones. 1 bdsgal reacted to this

TwinMom74 11 Posted July 16, 2013 I really enjoy the EAS whey Vanilla Powder shakes from BJ's. With a shaker, fat free milk and lots of ice, it tastes like the vanilla shakes from White Castle. The next great thing is that is gives you 26g of Protein. A 5lbs bag costs $32.00 At almost 2 years post surgery, I still drink this Protein Shake on an average of 3 times a week.
