new life journey

Hello Lap band Family: I am so excited, a new me.....down 74 pounds without a fill. I am so proud of myself. Never thought that I could do this, but I am doing this. With the support of my husband and family, I have been able to have a new life journey and be okay with it all. A whole new way of eating and living.

Wow! How long have you been banded?

I've been banded for one year. When I first got banded, my doctor wasn't sure if I would be able to do this, when I went for my last appt. for the year, he told me how I amazed him and that, with me having diabetes it was a up hill battle. The fact that I was able to do this without having a fill he said that is what really impressed him. It hasn't been easy, but I am doing this. Praise God! thank you family for your kind words.
