lellow 1,713 Posted July 12, 2013 I work a pretty high stress job. I'm a project manager. Long days, high responsibility. I find working out helps de-stress me, so I made time for it. Also planning your meals ahead of time helps, but when I can't I will make an effort to find healthy food. Invest as much in yourself as your job, you're no less important. 3 Good4me1313, ☠carolinagirl☠ and aviva1979 reacted to this
aviva1979 375 Posted July 12, 2013 Same here. I have reminders in Outlook to help me break up my day, eat, stretch. And found some great iPhone apps with quick exercises I can do in my office with a resistance band (all free - just search 'free exercise' in the App Store. Good luck! 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and Good4me1313 reacted to this
☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted July 12, 2013 people have stress from jobs, family (in laws.....ahem just saying), finances, kids or whatever the case may be......it is life.....how we handle and deal with it is key.....i am one who frets over everything.....but i also know to take a time out if i need to.......like lello, i have a very demanding job, i am the (bad guy) i have to be tough, heck i spend my time trying to put people in jail....so i am not ms popular...but i also know that during stress times, my band is super tight, i can tell as i am not hungry and i cant drink very much at one time.....so i make sure i have healthy snacks/options to eat when i need to eat my Protein .....there is always options in everything......monday a man told me to shut the F up lady on the phone...he told me an untruth and i advised him of his rights.....normally i would just hang up....but i said to him, true story, wonderful to hear such language this fine morning......i could have let him ruined my whole day.....anyhow, i hope my little post took your mind off your stress even for a little bit....and remember, nothing wrong with taking a time out (or call in sick to work....aka a great friend of mine did that as she needed a break)......good move hang in there okay the weight/inches will come off, just keep doing what you are doing eat good choices, drink and exercise if you can 3 Good4me1313, kah1213 and aviva1979 reacted to this
