lman 0 Posted May 7, 2006 Hi, I'm new here and am wanting my band removed. Hoping to get some feed back about the whole ordeal. Surgery and all.
PhotoNut 7 Posted May 7, 2006 Welcome to LBT, Iman. This forum is full of really super people who have had their bands removed for one reason or another and they will be able to give you some excellent advice and information. I'm sorry you're band didn't work out for you, for whatever reason. I wish you the best in whatever you end up doing.
GeezerSue 7 Posted May 7, 2006 Are you having complications or was it just the wrong surgery choice for you? Are you thinking about a revision to another surgery?
lman 0 Posted May 8, 2006 I'm tired of being sick in the morning. I have been dry heves for the last 31/2 weeks. Since easter. My surgeon keeps putting me off and says it's depression/anxiety. So today I'm going to see a different surgeon. Thanks for your reply.
NurseMichelle 0 Posted May 8, 2006 I am so sorry. Have you thought of seeing another bariatric physician about the dry heaves first?
lman 0 Posted May 8, 2006 nurse michelle, I'm going to see another dr. today. I've had an upper gi done but don't know the results of that yet. Today I should find out.
PhotoNut 7 Posted May 8, 2006 Maybe you're pregnant? *snickers* Yes, yes... there are some of us here with a warped sense of humor. I hope they find out what's causing the dry heaves and that it's not band related so you can keep on your journey. How long have you been banded, and have you had much success? Has your Dr given you anything for the depression? *hugs*
