drehn88 251 Posted July 10, 2013 I'm 2 months post op and started taking Biotin a few weeks ago. I haven't seen any Hair loss so far. I was just curious to know when or if it started for you?

GuyMontag 1,264 Posted July 10, 2013 I think it really depends on a lot of factors. Maybe you'll just get lucky and it won't happen to you. I also think the more rapid the weight loss the more likely the Hair loss. I lost 100lbs in six months so I definitely noticed the hair loss. Once the weight loss stopped so did the hair loss. 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this

jfc193 718 Posted July 10, 2013 I do not recall having much Hair loss, but then again when I get a haircut often times they will thin my hair.< /p> 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted July 10, 2013 I noticed it starting about a month after surgery. If you eat nutritiously, get in lots of Protein, stay hydrated, and keep with Biotin chances are good you won't have the hair loss since you haven't already. 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this

I am losing A LOT now. Really focusing on high protein but may start Biotin this week. Does anyone know of any drug interactions Biotin might have with beta blockers? Cwalband 215 Posted July 10, 2013 I've started taking Biotin a few months back, along with some extra Vitamins. Hoping it will help, along with my diet etc! Best Wishes that you just don't have any Hair loss at all! 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and drehn88 reacted to this

LeeB1946 261 Posted July 11, 2013 5 months post op and it just started. Karma in my case. Got a little too big for my britches (did not intend to make a joke) and told someone I was not losing my hair. The next day I combed out several clumps. Oh, Karma was just waiting for me to stick my foot in my mouth. 2 drehn88 and ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
GuyMontag 1,264 Posted July 11, 2013 I never had it come out in clumps but it was just a hair here or a hair there. Enough for me to notice in a hat or on a comb but not enough to notice on my head. One disclaimer is that I don't have a ton of thick fur up there in the first place. Lol. 1 drehn88 reacted to this
