I was banded 6/20/13 and I've lost 17.5 - 19 lbs depending on the day, or even time of day. Haha! Anyway, I've been running this past week and have been considering adding on my Tae-Bo videos. Is that too vigorous?

So far I've lost:

1 inch in my waist and hips

.75 inch in my upper arms

Almost 2 inches in each thigh.

Your advice is much appreciated.

I don't think so. My doctor did not give me any exclusions regarding exercise. He basically said that no exercise was going to dislodge the band, so to go for my life. I think as long as you feel up to it, and your doctor didn't tell you specifically not to exercise, I think exercising is a great way to recover!

Thanks. Running really helped me dislodge some of the residual gas too. Maybe tomorrow I will give it a go!

I agree with lellow, do whatever your body tells you it can do. Just don't "over-do". Best wishes!

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
