Nope, sleep on my stomach every night!!! Also use my laptop lying on my stomach all the time. No issues.

Right after surgery I had some trouble, but pillows kept me perched on an angle and I got through it.

I sleep on my stomach as well and haven't had any issues after the initial healing stage.

I cannot feel my port at all. Never had a problem with laying on my stomach except right after sx. My best friend also has a land and you can feel hers just by touching her side. The surgeon said they had to put it more on the side because of her hernia's. She can feel it sometimes when she rolls over she says.

It took me 3 weeks after surgery before I could sleep comfortably on my stomach and now I have no problem at all.

I'll be 3 weeks out tomorrow and I am just now getting to the point that I don't feel anything - port or band. I can ALMOST sleep on my stomach, but after a few minutes it begins to bother me. At first I could hardly sleep on my sides, so I'm healing well.

I will be honest with you, I feel the port. I am a belly sleeper also, and there are days when I feel the port and there are days when I don't feel a thing.

I am about 2 months post op, and I have a very small torso. There isn't much to me, it's all bust, butt and belly so there isn't much room for the port to begin with. It's a bit annoying if anything. It doesn't hurt and once I fall asleep I totally forget it's even there.

Give yourself a couple of weeks and you'll be sleeping naturally again. Time heals all wounds :) and in this case it's true.

I'm a stomach sleeper.... Do y'all feel the port when you lay on your stomach??? (Please say NO!!)

I do. I'm a year out and I feel it sometimes. But mine might be closer to the surface. Idk. I can feel it if I put my hand over it. It was very creepy at first.

I planned on asking the very same question! I'm a sleep all over the place an on every side type of person so I was worried about this. Thanks for sharing the question, and being able to read everyone's insight!

Someone once told me (because I too was an "all-over-the-place" sleeper) that if you sleep that way, you're not really "sleeping", therefore, not really resting. He said: try to notice in what position your body is in the moment you wake up.... And THAT'S actually the "way" you sleep. All the tossing & turning in our "sleep" is in reality low quality "sleep". FoodForThought ;)
