sparkles502 22 Posted July 9, 2013 Ok so I'm confused. I see tons of people who have a hard time getting all the required liquid down but I have no issues with Clear Liquids and I have only felt restriction once with a cream Soup. I wanna say the first two days I felt restriction with clear liquid but even my Protein Shakes I can drink them with no issues and not feeling full??? Any ideas?? SageTracey 608 Posted July 9, 2013 Could be that you are a quick healer post surgery. Regardless, please stick with your dietary guidelines and you will get the best outcomes from this surgery. 3 ☠carolinagirl☠, DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! and 2muchfun reacted to this
sparkles502 22 Posted July 9, 2013 Any suggestions on how to achieve the full feeling?? Or should I tough it out till I get my first fill (I go for follow up on the 17th) I wonder if he would give me a fill that early 1 SashaWLS reacted to this
Maddysgram 6,159 Posted July 9, 2013 Until you have enough fills for restriction, it's just another diet. Stick with your surgeons diet requirements. Sometimes it takes a number of fills to hit the green zone. The first 6wks is for healing., not necessarily losing weight. Good luck! 5 NWgirl, ☠carolinagirl☠, DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! and 2 others reacted to this
pinklily27 61 Posted July 9, 2013 Agree with Maddysgram. Right now is for healing and its about diet and not weightloss. Many patients do not feel restriction for several fills. Some patients do get restriction when the band is placed but definatly not all patients! Good luck to you. I know the first 6-8 weeks are hard because you do not feel full but have to follow your diet rules. Hang in there. 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! reacted to this

PJ Geeser 108 Posted July 9, 2013 Ive had 8 fills in 8 months and still feel no restriction so dont necessarily expect it with your 1st, 2nd or maybe even third fill.....just sayin 2 Maddysgram and ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
