KNall 8 Posted July 6, 2013 Hey all i need help. I had a fill on the 3rd. half cc. Now since then my medication that i have to take it's making me nauseous. Last night i slept sitting up which helped it pass. Tonight i tried eating something before and cut my pills. They were seriously the size of like a sesame seed. I'm still nauseous. This has never happened until now. Even right after surgery i was fine. Has this happened to anyone else? Suggestions? Thx Kate Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted July 6, 2013 Are you having any problems with food, or is it just pills? Also, be careful cutting or crushing pills. You should always ask your pharmacist first because some pills are time release and cutting/crushing them can lead to an accidental over dose. I'm not sure why your pills would suddenly make you nauseous. Stuck, I get. But nauseous is a little more difficult to figure out. It makes me wonder if possibly it's not passing through your band immediately, sitting in your stoma, and irritating it. If I were in your shoes, I'd give your band doctor a call and get his advice. KNall 8 Posted July 6, 2013 Thanks! I'm doing well with food. I plan on calling my band doctor but with holiday weekend they are closed until Monday. I'm not sure why either.
