jenn28 0 Posted August 12, 2006 Welcome Back Telly!! :whoo:I didn't make it to the gym today, but I did chase around 6 little girls!! I have 2 girls and my bestfriend has 4! I had this crazy idea to have them over today for a pool party playdate! After swimming all day, playing dress up and going to Target (yes with all 6) I was to tired to hit the gym. I am sure there were a few calories worked off in there somewhere! Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!
Miss me baby 1 Posted August 12, 2006 Mowed the grass and hauled piles of dirt at my fathers house, still working on what Katrina did!!! So, thats my exercise for today... maybe I will hit the gym later... maybe!
BPM 0 Posted August 13, 2006 4 miles mall walking. 13 miles on bike...avg speed of 15 mph. Going for my first 20mph ride tomorrow....try to keep the avg. speed up around 14-15mph. Will depend on the amount of hills. :Banane27: I haven't had a chance to ride much in the last week due to being out of town for work.

Tricia K. 0 Posted August 13, 2006 Did you injure yourself or just normal soreness type bad back stuff?I've had chronic back pain since the age of 17 but it flared up really bad yesterday. I have no idea what I did to aggravate it, but I'm paying for it now.
JANSKI 0 Posted August 13, 2006 I've been wanting to rollerblade the local 19.4 mile rail trail. I rollerbladed the whole thing.

My wife struggles with the same thing....she is missing a vertebrae in her lower back....born that way. Everything is fine normally but if she works her back hard it tightens up like steel. wild_in97 0 Posted August 13, 2006 Hi, I was banded 7/25/06, had a little problem so they went back in on 7/27/2006 and fixed it. I woke up from the surgery with hiccups and could not even swallow juice or broth. So, two days later, they fixed it and anchored me much better. So, it has been a little over 2 weeks since they surgery. There have been a few days I felt fine. I have no pain from the surgery and everything should be ready for exercising. However, I am tired. I am really really tired at this point. I don't know if this is because I have so much on my mind or if it is because of the surgery. My life is very complicated right now, but physically and mentally so very tired. I have lost about 12 pounds. I just started eating cottage cheese and scrambled eggs a few days ago. I am getting hungry now, which did not occur the first 10 days. Has anyone else felt tired and no energy with this surgery. I have read other people say that when they got over the pain of the surgery, they had great energy. How about you guys?? Thanks for your time, Wild
Tricia K. 0 Posted August 13, 2006 Are you getting in enough Protein? If not, that may the reason why you're so tired. Protein is very important, now and later. Good luck to you.
