Iuliz,

Awesome girl! Awesome Awesome Awesome!

Tricia - love those eyes, can't get over them.

Niche, you are just going with it. You are a champ. We are doing some of the same things in the gym. I love it!

Esquerdo, that is really good. Pretty soon you'll see a major difference in your waist and your legs. Keep up that jogging and leg exercises.

Anyone seen my DOC?

Hi All!!

I know I made a promise to Telly that I would post my workout daily, but I guess that's a lot easier said than done! IT's been a CRAZY two weeks; dance recital, double birthday parties (daughters turned 1 and 5), swim lessons and softball tournaments (I coach an 18-under travel team). My workouts are going great. My daily routine (the past 2 weeks) is as follows:

8:15-9:15am: get girls fed, dressed and ready for the day

9:30am: go to the gym w/girls (they go to the daycare)

- 45-60 minutes of cardio (fat burn level on eliptical machine)

- 3 sets of 35 crunchs

- M/W/F: Arms: 2 sets of 25-35 of arm pulls, triceps, biceps

- T/Th : 3 sets of 20 leg press, in/outs (thighs), squat machine, calves

11:00-12:00: off to swim lessons for an hour / Mommy and me w/1yr old

12:30: lunch

1:00: watch Days of our Lives and take nap!! (girls napping:)

I have been taking the weekends off, because I need it and usually I am out of town for a tournament. It sounds like the rest of you are all doing great!! Keep up the great work!

Esq,

Don't fret girlfriend, been there, done that. Trust me, it's ok to take a break. Don't overdo it where you feel you loathe it. I'm ok now but at some point, I was doing too much. I take off a day every other week and I really do nothing the whole day :)

Didn't run an extra 2 miles last night. In fact, I conked out on the sofa watching a movie with Samuel L. Jackson.

Not only did I go to the gym last night, I handed in my application! So hopefully I will start working there at the front desk. I plan on going in before my shift and getting cardio in, change, work my shift, then change and do some more working out. And if I get any overnight shifts I can pretty much work out during my shift b/c it is usually empty and you just need to get a few things done before all you have to do is sit and be bored, but I'd be on the bike or eliptical! Haha, lets hope I actually get the job now.

Oh, I also plan on going over there tonight also, I love having the 24 hours open option, the gym is huge and empty and I can go on anything I want and watch whatever I want with no one there to bother me!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
