Unjury comes in containers, not bags. And its the best protien on the market. Its the only one i trust, and its the only one i will use.

The Unjury I ordered came in pouches. I mixed the unflavored into crystal lite lemonade and OMG it was horrible. I couldn't believe that something could taste so bad. It was probably a knee jerk reaction but I tossed all the rest.

As with cars, your mileage may vary. I am a picky eater, and I tried many Protein powders before I bit the bullet and ordered unjury. Yes, it is a pain in the butt not being able to get it in the stores....but in my eyes, it is worth it.

To me, the chocolate splendor with 8-10 oz of low fat or skim milk tastes like Yoo-Hoo. The strawberry with milk tastes like strawberry Quik. I tried the same strawberry with the lemonade as they recommended, and I didn't like that. I also use the unflavored with a variety of fruit juices my wife gets me. 4 oz of the juice, 4-6 oz of Water and one scoop of the unflavored is my normal 11:00 am shake.

We all just need to try different ones until we find what works for us and tastes best to us. Reading posts like all these is great because you get new ideas of what to try.

Well luckily plan b for me I was able to return the unflavored and replace both containers with any other flavor. I chose classic chocolate, no more money just an exchange for the containers I originally bought. Waiting on the chocolate to come and hoping it tastes good. Everyone is different I know, I just could not stomach it. If the chocolate sucks il move onto plan c I guess :)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
