My name is Staci. I was banded on 6/6 and so far I am loving it! I also had a hernia repair and recovery went pretty good! I had the gas pains that everyone seems to go through! I didn't have a pre-op diet and so far have lost 23 lbs! I have about 43 lbs to go! I have been feeling pretty good and have been happy with things so far! Looking forward to this journey with you guys

Welcome Staci!! That is GREAT! So glad to hear! Did you know you had a hernia at the time of surgery? Or was it something that was found and fixed during the procedure? My surgery is soon and I'm excited!

I did find out that I had a hernia prior to my surgery. They did an endoscopy about 2 weeks before my surgery! I felt fine after the first couple days though wishing you the best!!
