Hippygirl 8 Posted June 28, 2013 Has anybody heard of this or taken the pills? I know it feels you up as a Fiber supplement but what's the effect on the band?
blondegal_ 1,028 Posted June 28, 2013 I don't know anything specific about these pills but I've read warnings from others about fiber supplements. You have to be careful that its not the kind that will swell up as that could be stuck in the band and be very painful and you might need medical attention. But in my opinion, I got the Lapband so I wouldn't need to take a pill or join a program to lose weight. So be sure to do your research on the pills.< /p> 3 parisshel, DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! and mrsto reacted to this
GuyMontag 1,264 Posted June 28, 2013 Fortunately I'm regular so I do not need to supplement with fiber. When I did need fiber I used benefiber and stirred it into Hot Drinks.< /p>
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted June 28, 2013 As CG mentioned above, Skinny Fiber is one of the many gimmick pills that expand in your stomach to make you feel full. It's not safe with the band because it can expand below the band and cause a slip. I have to ask, why bother with gimmicks when you have the Lap Band? Your band is there to make you feel satisfied on much less food for much longer periods of time so why bother wasting your money on diet gimmicks? 2 dylanmiles23 and mrsto reacted to this
