Hello everyone...I am 6 days post op and on the liquid diet. I have had sugar free jello' date=' sugar free ice pops, clear broths and yesterday I tried Protein drinks. I have just a little soreness but I am out of the house and mobile.

Unfortunately, I am hungry. I know I dont have a fill yet but i really thought I would have no hunger twinges. Is anyone else experiencing this? and what are you doing to cope?[/quote']

I just got banded on yesterday . Everything went well . I thought I wasn't going to experience hunger pains either . But I am . I'm 1 day post op and I'm have a Lil gas pain . It seems like I can't lay down all the way to get comfortable.

I still have gas ...but not as much since day three....it will get better...use a heating pad ..helped me..I propped my pillows up pretty high and laid at an angle....once the gas subsides you will be able to rest easier...stay strong!
