sweets27 24 Posted June 25, 2013 MaggieMay 702 I'm just on the "diet" given by the dietician to honor the reqs of my insurance. It's just really a guide to healthier eating (portion control, balanced meals, etc).I have about 4 more mos of this and then I have to wait for my insurance to approve, then I'm banded. I just hope there isn't a weight loss req in order for me to get approved...I put enough pressure on myself as is. Thanks for the advice, though!
beanie80 146 Posted June 25, 2013 Downysoft, those lean cuisines have a ton of sodium and preservatives in them! try making your favorite lean cuisine at home with healthier ingredients, portion it out into tupperware, and you will have something easy to grab at the end of the day but with one heck of a lot less sodium. Also, what kind of chicken are you buying? if you are buying it in a bag in the frozen foods section, check the sodium intake on the bag. A lot of those frozen bag chickens have a lot of sodium in them too 2 sweets27 and michpell39 reacted to this
