reneeperdue 33 Posted July 7, 2013 I am having problems with things getting stuck in my chest, is that normal or have I had a slip? I have not had my first fill yet. 1 Hynita reacted to this
JustWes 50 Posted July 7, 2013 Totally normal, your not chewing enough... Nothing solid and nothing starchy at first. I used to have the hardest time with rice and tortillas. What are you eating?

What are you eating?[/quote'] I have found that bread gets stuck every time I have tried to eat it and a couple of times chicken breast meat got stuck. I mostly stick with my phase 2 foods cause I'm afraid to eat.i have a lot of sugar free Popsicles , sugar free pudding, cottage cheese and boiled eggs but sometimes the boiled eggs like to stick. JustWes 50 Posted July 7, 2013 Best advice, is to slow down... Very small butes and take your time. you don't get points anymore for finishing early. I could eat anything I wanted with time and tiny bites. Stop with the sugar free stuff, it's reinforcing the sugar thing. For me I was crazy hungry after I ate something sweet whether it was sugar free or not. Protein Protein protein... Trust me it will be way easier with time. Realize that your eating because of habit or your thirsty. Get busy and drink more water... Doc gave me a goal of 60-80grams of protein a day. Tough to get unless you work at it. 2 Ashleigh Childress and A New New Dawn reacted to this

Hynita 113 Posted July 15, 2013 yes thats totally normal just slow down a little bit and maybe smaller bites and more chewing. with a slip you would either be in a lot of pain unable to swallow or for me it was a little pain but nothing un normal but i got a little more hungry and was able to eat a lot more then i used to so dont worry.
