Eating Around the Band? Clarification, please.

Earlier today I read a post that mentioned this phrase and I think it was referring to going off the wagon but can someone tell me what that's referring to? Thanks.

For me, it meant NOT at correct restriction/adjustment. Also, as old habits die hard....it was drinking with meals to flush/push the food through my band to allow me to eat more. I'm not sure I could do that now, even if I tried....at correct adjustment, for me.

It means learning how to over eat despite the band. For instance, grazing over hours slowly so you never feel a soft stop signal. Or eating slider foods that go right through so you can eat tons, like ice cream. It's any bad eating habit meant to defeat the band so you can eat way too much.
