So tomorrow is my 2 month bandiversary! i feel like i have come a long way.. the way i feel.. how i eat... how my clothes feel.. i recently went back to work on June 10th and while the scale is still moving it has gone slower.. so i said to myself okay.. that's prolly normal, give my body time to catch up or something... I have had a few NSV's at work to make up for it and well just simply amaze me and some of my co -workers... I am able to get up with my alarm and get to work.. not feeling as tired or sluggish before... one of our providers told me friday "Jen you need to buy new shirts these are swimming on you" .. and the best accomplishment yet.. we have a set of stars that are two full sets.. before i would huff n puff and have to stop to catch my breath so i avoided them like the plague... i got up them with not so much huff and puff! I love it! The little things definitely help keep my motivated and once again i stop to ask myself "why didn't i do this sooner!" Thanks for letting my post my wonderful accomplishments thus far!! What are yours?

I like your topic Jenni. I too am finding the weight loss is slowing down and it can be a little disappointing as it was coming off at a spectacular rate for a while. So now is the time to keep your eye on the prize and not sweat the slow down or fluctuations. My accomplishment is basically that I have lost enough weight to just be a regular overweight person. Medically I am still obese, but culturally or socially, I am a normal run of the mill fat person.

And what I mean by that while I'm not thin..not by a longshot...I can now fit into an airplane seat and buckle up comfortably. Plus I don't spill into the seat next to me. I fit into a booth in the restaurant again. I can sit in tighter spaces again, and most importantly, I live in NYC and take public transportation everywhere. No car for me. When I get on the bus or subway, I no longer see the horror in other rider's eyes when they think I might try to sit next to them.

For me, that is a wonderful accomplishment.

Keep on trucking! Most of us slow down at about that time period. Keep your eye on how the clothes fit and all your NSVs to get you through the slow downs. Sounds like you are doing wonderful!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
