carriet 12 Posted June 22, 2013 I was banded Thursday, and had a 1 week pre-op liquid diet prior. I did not do a " last meal" and stuck to the diet . My question is, if I literally not had a solid thing to eat in a week, Protein Shakes, Soups and Water. Is it normal to have gained weight ? I weighed in Thursday at 191, and 2 days later I am at 192. Could this just be bloat weight? I'm confused?

Hang in there, it will come off.

If getting on the scale daily is too much for you (and it is for some people) then don't do it. Just weigh yourself weekly or every third day or .... Don't stay off the scale. Find the happy medium for yourself. Best wishes on your journey!
