Hi all, I am heading out to fi my prescriptions for tomorrow's surgery. My doc gave me a tablet Zofran for nausea. I had assumed it would be sublingual. Anyone else get tablets? Did they go down okay and STAY down?

No! It is a pill. I think I am going to ask my pharmacist to call and get dissolvable ones. He also wrote a script for a suppository anti nausea med, but I don't think I'll be using that one. Haha!

I keep Zofran tablets on me at all times as a precaution. They're fairly small and I've never had a problem taking them.

Okay, I guess I'm just worried about 1) getting them down and 2) the pill staying down!

I have zofran solutabs that dissolve they are the best, although I can honestly say I never used any n never once was nauseated before or after surgery, and I was terrified of the thought of nausea! Maybe you'll be a lucky one n not need it. Good luck.

I hope so! However, I was sick to my stomach after my scope Monday. :/

I did get the ones that dissolve thank goodness!
