ev1988 36 Posted February 27, 2014 Well I am 5'7" and that is pretty much what my doctor said too...that I didn't need to lose much more than where I was at. Honestly I feel okay with how I look right now, but I am worried about it not being the best it can be. I have until April 17th to lose more weight, and he seemed to think that there was no reason to wait to get the skin removed. I don't need any muscle tightening or anything like that, however I will need the fleur-de-lys tuck because of all the skin. One thing I am definitely worried about is that I plan to have children in the next 3 years, but he said that shouldn't be a concern of mine either. I think he just sees the amount of weight I have lost and the amount of skin I have and knows it just needs to go. The cool thing about it is, he is also the surgeon who did my lap band surgery...so he knows all about my weight loss so far. I just hope he's right!
vogue 310 Posted February 27, 2014 I'm 5.7 1/2. 145 pounds. Was 165 when I had initial consult and he didn't feel I needed to lose anymore weight to have surgery. I'm " only " having a panni done and didn't plan to lose 20 more pounds before surgery but am glad I did. I have surgery in a lil over 2 weeks I literally will just have skin removed and hopefully make my ultimate 140 pound goal before Spring is officially here 1 SuNMooNStaRS816 reacted to this

CBT 450 Posted March 9, 2014 (edited) I wonder what else factors into the decision of how many areas in one surgery? I am 3 weeks post op from a circumferential lower body lift (3 procedures in one) and mastopexy (breast lift) with augmentation (implants). Complete in 3 hours. I recent read a thread of surgeons discussing this issue on RealMe.com* Nothing conclusive. Highly subjective by surgeon. *RealSelf.com Edited March 9, 2014 by CBT
