Guest Mindy Posted July 31, 2003 Have any of you experienced this? If so, how have you handled it? I'm pretty tight right now and if I'm not careful I'll eat something that is too easy to eat and not the best choice. I'm not too tight, some days are just perfect but it's the other days that I need support with! Thanks!
leo 4 Posted August 2, 2003 Whenever you feel the urge to eat something unhealthy. Drink some Water or juice. I notice that I loose the urge to eat something bad after I drink the Water.< /p>

springirl 0 Posted August 22, 2003 I was just told by the dietitian who heads my support group that soft foods can sabotage the band. I am guilty of trying to eat foods that go down easy like chili and refried Beans, turkey hot dogs etc. She suggested that I eat more real foods and chew the hell out of them. I have stayed away from salads, but she said to eat them. I recently started using prepackaged broccoli slaw and mixed it with canned boneless salmon and a little Salad Dressing. It is crunchy, low carb and I have to chew it to death to get it down. I can't eat much at one time. She said if you are eating more than 1 cup of food at a meal, that is too much. Last night I ate a fairly large seafood salad. I think it is time for another fill. Spring
