michpell39 399 Posted June 15, 2013 They fill you with air when you have abdominal surgery , and the shoulder and chest pain are from it trying to reabsorb or escape
GetMyGrooveBack 21 Posted June 15, 2013 Good luck Tracie... The leprechauns will be with you. It is pretty easy.. Just feels like you get punched in the stomach a few times. The anxiety and the shoulder pain was about the worst for me. Good luck, keep us posted! 1 utkscvol1 reacted to this

tracie71 11 Posted June 16, 2013 Hi surgery went well but I can't sleep... It's 1am and I feel like someone has punched me in the chest the nurses are great druged as much as she can for now. Having a walk around and a cup of tea that seems to have helped. We got Soup earlier and I couldn't finish it that's a first. 1 SueBee01 reacted to this
GetMyGrooveBack 21 Posted June 16, 2013 Tracie---Give it a day or two and the worst will be over! I was home after about 6 hours in my own bed. So at least you are being watched over until that point. Get some rest and dream skinny! Keep me posted.
