LOL. Thanks EmileeKaye! Yeh we're from a small town, so our parents were best friends when they were growing up. We grew up like brother and sister. It's pretty cool.

Ok, so I do believe I'm ANGRY!!! ;) LOL, how do you change your background color, etc to customize your page? Their help section is less then helpful, lol. "You have to know HTML... then ask others for help." WHAT???

Anyone point me in the right direction? I know HTML... but you have to put it SOMEWHERE!

Thanks! :)

In the "About Me" Section under Edit Profile. Just stick the CSS code in the About me section. LOL! Janet, how could I ever believe you are frustrated with a infectious smile such as the avatar you have???

You lie...! lol

What's really crazy is last night I was up relatively late, searching for old highschool and childhood friends on myspace and I found 4 of them. It was exciting to find them and send them all messages. They look exactly the same and now with kids, etc.

I just did a "search" with their real names and found pictures and profiles of people that matched and I found old neighbors too. Pretty crazy.

My Space is a hot topic among law enforcement. Seems that the personal information encryption has something wrong with it. Crafty sex predators have been known to surf and find victims this way. Although some computer minded predators can get your information through the computer that you log into myspace from, or at least the address of origin, there are a few recommendations from law enforcement if you choose to use this space.

1. NEVER put personal information that may lead predators to you.

2. Refrain from placing childrens photos on the site. Photos can "capture" the eye of predators and create a relationship for them. Also, clear photos can be digitally mastered to be used in child porn. It may not be your child's body, but it very well could be their face. Predators look for the right poses or expressions facially.

3. In blogs, be aware of what information you are sharing. If you just broke up with a boyfriend, met a new boyfriend, your dog died (i.e. no protection for the house)

4. Never divulge your full name online.

Especially for children using myspace....

1. Let your parents know you have the space and let them look at it often for content.

2. Be aware of giving out information, especially in blogs. If you say once that the leaves are changing and are beautiful in North Carolina... then later you state that you are busy with cheerleading practice every day after school but hate the school colors of blue and white.... then you get mad at your mom because she was late picking you up from school and you had to walk home... then later you mention that your team, the "Pirates", won their game.... then later again you say that you have hurt your ankle..... You have given a predator everything they need to know to find you.

3. Limit the type and amount of pictures. We all know that you want to be "grown up" but try and keep any pictures that could be construed as inviting OFF the site.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
