GodsTyro 63 Posted June 8, 2013 Normally you are good to exercise ( but not extensive) after 5-6 weeks, but after surgery you should still be walking around some to avoid blood clots. They normally say to exercise after doctor approval, and your first follow up is normally 5-6 weeks after the surgery 3 Pygo, ☠carolinagirl☠ and stept04 reacted to this
stept04 465 Posted June 8, 2013 My Doc said walking after surgery until 4 weeks post op and then bump it up. No running or jumping till around 6 weeks post-op ~~~Stephanie 3 Pygo, ☠carolinagirl☠ and Maddysgram reacted to this

brianb 81 Posted June 19, 2013 I was told right away by my doctor, but was skeptical and choose to wait several weeks and then took it slow at first.
BringingSexyBackToTX 51 Posted June 21, 2013 I'd like to start Crossfit again as soon as possible. Its pretty brutal though - so I'm guessing it will be at LEAST 6 weeks post-op before I can return to CF class?
goalseeker 695 Posted June 22, 2013 I would confirm with your surgeon because like everything else each dr is different. I was old walking only till 6 weeks post op.
