txgal1961 29 Posted June 7, 2013 Don't get disappointed if you don't feel a lot better in a week. I am 3 weeks post surgery and I can say I now feel great! Give it at least 2 weeks. Your body is in shock and will take time to heal. Hang in there, we all went through it and can tell you each new day will be a better day.

mstrue 4 Posted June 8, 2013 I've been out of surgery for 6 hours. I had bad nausea and kep dry heaving. I hurt like a mofo and any I feel like someone punched me several times in the stomach. I'm staying over night because of the Äry heaves and coughing/gagging fits. Would I do it again? ask me in about a week lol Great!! Keep us updated on your progress. txflea 63 Posted June 8, 2013 I'm home today! I feel partially human, but the gas is kicking my tushie!! One thing for sure, broth and popsicles are my BEST FRIEND!! I'm starving though, well until I eat a popsicle then I am full for about 10 minutes..lol then I'm hungry all over again. When should I start on stage 2 diet? I would hurt someone for some yogurt..lol but I'm still sore and I do not want to push it at all... I guess just talking about it makes me feel better and makes me not want to screw it up, so I am going to stick to the clear liquid diet for at least another day until the soreness goes away. 1 MsGal reacted to this
MsGal 104 Posted June 10, 2013 Stay the couse lady.....I can only imagine how you feel....but you waited to get the surgery and you certainly don't want to mess it up! Time flies.....before you know it you will be on mushy food! Keep up the good work. Lisa
