jvelasco 6 Posted June 3, 2013 Pre op diet Day 7 of low glycemic veggies and shakes. Felt so sick to my stomach and hungry today that I caved and had 3 slices of whole wheat bread with my cauliflower... I was doing so well!
txflea 63 Posted June 3, 2013 I don't know what to tell you other than you are human. Pick yourself up, don't beat yourself up and go back to the diet. I have 3 more days until surgery and my Dr. is not giving a pre-op diet. But I have put myself on one anyways, I cant say I have been 100 % but I can say its better than how I normally eat. Good luck!! 1 dylanmiles23 reacted to this
mstrue 4 Posted June 3, 2013 Don't beat yourself up..just jump back on track. It's definitely not easy. Dust yourself off and try again. Ask yourself how bad you want it. It helps with my temptations. 1 dylanmiles23 reacted to this
jvelasco 6 Posted June 3, 2013 Oh for sure I plan to keep going . Just a hiccup I guess. I do want this 1 dylanmiles23 reacted to this
michpell39 399 Posted June 3, 2013 It happens, just start fresh , have you tried dividing the shakes through the day ? like a half pack 6 times a day instead of three?
jvelasco 6 Posted June 3, 2013 That sounds like a good idea ! Will give it a try . Thanks so much !

dylanmiles23 2,198 Posted June 3, 2013 Good luck with having the Band. Everyone has a slip now and then and it's over with and move on. I love SF Popsicles. I buy Edy's, I think they taste the best. They have a few more calories but taste really makes a difference. I just had one when I finished with my dinner.< /span>
Quahog 134 Posted June 4, 2013 You publicly owned up, I think that means you probably feel bad enough to stay on course. Good luck, and remember you are not the only one and that doesn't mean you aren't serious and don't want it. If we all had self control, bands wouldn't have been invented. ChicagoRose 650 Posted June 4, 2013 It's okay, we all make mistakes...that being said what really helped me is to force myself to drink zero cal beverages all day long to subside the hunger between shakes. My fav is Diet Snapple (10 cals a bottle so that's cal free in my opinion) Good Luck!
dawalsh 919 Posted June 4, 2013 I think we all have slips that doesn't mean your bad. Just re-focus and you should be fine. Best of luck to you!

melly2513 24 Posted June 4, 2013 I like drinking Smart Water. When I feel shaky, it makes me feel better. 1 jvelasco reacted to this
