yes, call your doctor and let them know...

they may advise you to come in and get some removed...throwing up bile is not what should be happening...

Did they go straight from 7 to 8.5 in one fill or was it slow and steady? 1.5cc jump when already at 7 would be insane. I would definitely call as CG suggested.

I agree with Jim, probably way to much. I sometimes can't even tolerate .1 or.2. Please call your surgeon's office to have a bit removed. Mine uses the floro all the time. If it is available, I would suggest doctor using it. Karen

Yes call your doc because if you are throwing up bile then you are def aggravating your band and throat and it will not calm down until you get a unfill it will stay swollen and irritated!

Agree with others, going from 7 to 8.5 sounds smart, but dangerous. You don't want to be fighting to get in the green zone for ever, so it's good your doc doesn't mess around, but believe he/she might have overshot a bit.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
