Nervous: Surgery Scheduled for 5/24/2006

Hi, I'm excited to be a part of this forum. I'm 50 years old with a BMI of 39 and this is the first time I have participated in a forum. I attended Dr. Spivak's seminar on 3/15/2006 and have had all of my pre-surgery tests completed. Today I scheduled my band surgery for 5/24/2006 and am nervous about post-surgery pain and discomfort.:help: What should I be doing pre-surgery? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
