Delightful521 15 Posted June 2, 2013 Hello, I was wondering if anyone could answer my question. Is it normal to have a bit of port discomfort? I bent over the wrong way putting my socks on friday and have been slightly tender at my port site. I had to have my port fixed in April so Im a little nervous it will happen again. Is this something i need to be worried about. i don't know how sensitive this thing is and need to know how careful I have to be. Thanks!
catfish87 3,471 Posted June 2, 2013 Hopefully, its no big deal...maybe just a slight strain that will go away in a few days. I'm almost four years post banding and last Wednesday, my port area was SORE....I went to six flags amusement park Tuesday, lol....rode every ride I wanted to. Bumpy roller coasters got me good! 3 ☠carolinagirl☠, KAATNS and sapcat54 reacted to this

[/quote'] Thanks Catfish.....i had to have a port revision a month ago so now every little twinge scares the hell out of me. I also had a seroma which had to be drained at my last fill two weeks ago.im sure its no big deal. My port feels like its in the right place.
CHEZNOEL 4,061 Posted June 2, 2013 You should be fine... the port is sewn to the muscle and if you stretched it it could be sore for a couple of days.
Delightful521 15 Posted June 2, 2013 Thank you very much NC Granny. LIke I said, since this revision I've been on pins and needles about something else going wrong. I know the chances are slim but with me, who knows LOL.
