Filled a few days ago. Yesterday EVERYTHING got stuck and I felt full fast. Today, NOTHING is getting stuck and I'm eating more. Grr! I have 7.3 in a 10cc band. Does anyone have more then 7.3 in a 10cc. Is that even possible? This is so frustrating!

Swelling is down and the stoma is wider. That's what happens with fills.

food is not supposed to get stuck. Sounds like you need to sit down with your nut and find the foods that help you feel satiety. The band won't stop you from eating more. It's designed to help you feel satisfied with less food. And it takes some time to learn those signals.

How many CCs in your band is irrelevent since we all have different anatomies. It might take all 10 CCs to find the green zone.

What are you eating more of?

Much of what you list is slider foods. Pick things you have to chew!

You may have slipped. You prolly should call your doctor. The band can hold a little more than its capacity, so you still have some adjustment room. I'm concerned that you say you are eating more. Don't eat more because you can.

To prevent getting stuck and control your portions:

Measure your food. 1/2 cup total, 75% dense Protein, 25% low glycemic veggies.

Cut into m&m sized pieces. Chew each bite 15-25 times. Take 20-30 min to eat your meal. Stop when you get a soft stop sign, hiccup, runny nose, sigh or when your food is gone or at 30 min.

If you get stuck, do liquids for 24-48 hours, progress to solids slowly. Learning dietary discipline is difficult, but necessary with a band.

Doesn't sound to me like she slipped.... No reports of pain, heartburn, reflux, inability to keep fluids down, etc.

Just sounds like swelling went down and she's still learning how to understand her new full signals/get used to new eating habits. She also may not be in her green zone. All very normal

Hey guys. I'm doing MUCH better. I'm trying to get this whole eating thing figured out. Sliders are easier because they go down easy but then getting the band would be in vein. I agree that I haven't slipped. I think the swelling went away so when I was eating my sliders it just kept me hungry. Lapband is difficult. I got the surgery without a huge knowledge base of it, and now I'm left dealing with the side effects of my own ignorance. I love advice on food. Its always welcome! Thank you guys/girls for your help.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
