Preparing for surgery?

Oops. Sorry for above typo. You prob won't be hungry.. My doc said no Popsicles though for first few days so swelling goes down an the cold wont irritate it and cause to constrict...

It's funny how different doc's are. Less than 15 minutes post surgery they had my eating ice chips and SF Popsicles Lol

I was only on liquids for 24 hours. I was allowed to start purée the next day, but I didn't feel like eating and didn't. So I was basically on liquids for 72 hours. I don't have much to add, everyone here has covered it. Good luck!!!

thanks..got my chapstick, gas-x, pillow, bought my clear Protein Drinks, broth, popsicles, Jello & I'm ready to roll. I'm so excited less then 48 hours : ) Woo Hoo

Good Luck to you also. I am literally counting down the hours now. Can't sleep, drinking gallon of Water and up every 30 mins. Keep me posted and we can follow each other's progresshere.
