B-52 7,113 Posted May 30, 2013 Can't speak for other people, and won't guess your situation..... I have been in the Green Zone for 2 years now, No Hunger, Portion Control, Steady consistent weight loss till nothing left to lose....no additional fills needed since that 2 year mark.... I speak and listen to people who at some support groups and many people have said they thought they were there only to find they did need another fill....then eventually it became fixed, and a every day part of life.... The band is a constant...it does not change, does not get tighter or looser....but our body's fluctuate all the time.... 2 brianb and dylanmiles23 reacted to this

stept04 465 Posted May 30, 2013 My Dr. said as you lose weight your stomach shrinks so your band won't be as tight anymore, and you may need other fills as you lose. And then I have heard there are just times when we are tighter or loser. ~~~Stephanie 2 Debbie3sons and mrsto reacted to this
this sucks 557 Posted May 31, 2013 I gave up trying to find the elusive green zone about eight months ago. After nearly three years, I know that a lot of things can impact how tight my band feels. It changes day to day, hour to hour sometimes. If I eat too much sodium, don't drink enough Water, it's that time of the month, if there are huge barometric pressure changes....the list goes on and on. Instead of searching for the magic spot, I just do my best each day to work with my band. I journal everything I eat, I exercise, I eat 60-80 grams of Protein and I drink my water. No magic, no excuses, just doing my best day by day. 1 patience1822 reacted to this
patience1822 17 Posted May 31, 2013 You know what that is the best answer to my question just like any normal person you have some hungry days and some normal days I know I have even had days I forgot to eat. It really is about making the best choices and keeping yourself controlled. After I posted this the next day I went right back to my regular routine and can only eat my cup of food if that. So you are absolutely right. 1 this sucks reacted to this
