dannygoody 12 Posted May 30, 2013 I just had the surgery and and I had some problems. After the surgery they tell you that you need to walk off the gas in your system. I walked all night and still had problems with nausea and stomach pains. After the upper gi series they realized the band was too tight and removed 3 cc's, I immediately felt better. Has this happened to anybody else?

Hope everything gets better for you
sp70 193 Posted May 30, 2013 They haven't put anything in my band and won't until 6 weeks post op. Sorry you had troubles, hope you feel better! 1 kll724 reacted to this
JACKIEO85 308 Posted May 30, 2013 Sorry you experienced this, One of the things is that after having this surgery your stomach needs time to heal after being thrown around and banded. My doctor told me that is why you need 6 weeks post-op to let things heal, I can't imagine why your doctor thought you needed to be filled already especially to 3cc? I'd ask him/her next time you see them. Glad your feeling better. 1 brianb reacted to this
