megpieky 9 Posted May 28, 2013 My surgery date is June 14th. I've been on the liquid diet (slimfast) since May 17th. I'm allowed 4 shakes a day and any non calorie beverages. It's not been easy but I'm proud of myself for sticking to it! 4 weeks is a long time, but I'm almost half way there! When I was 18 I had a benign liver tumor and there is a small chance that my band won't be able to be placed b/c of scar tissue. Any prayers would be greatly appreciated! I will be devastated if it can't be placed. My husband and I want a baby so bad and I have PCOS unless I lose weight I prob won't be able to get pregnant...so lapband is my chance to lose this weight and be a healthy mommy! srussell8 111 Posted May 29, 2013 Prayers! Hang in with the liquids! I would never ever have believed that I could do the 6 week pre-op liquid diet my surgeon required (plus the post-op time). If you can do 2 weeks, you can do 4! You have a lot to gain! Shelly
