shannonc5460 28 Posted May 26, 2013 I am coming up on my 1year Bandiversary on 5/30!!!!!!! A lot has happened to me in that year, foot surgery which I regret, knee surgery which was needed and cancer surgery most def needed! With all this I have so far lost 73 lbs! I am down from a 4x-5x to an XL and loving myself again! I had the foot surgery because I was more active and foot was hurting but guess I picked wrong doctor cause foot is worse but working on fixing that! Through my surgeries and also loss of my mother in law I have been fairly diligent on what I eat! I could use an adjustment but due to this last surgery have had to postpone that so I drink Water to fill me when I know I shouldn't eat! Thankful for a second or maybe third chance at life and living. Can't wait to get on my feet as I just got an elliptical that I am dying to use. I don't make myself crazy and once in a blue moon I do have something I "shouldn't" but in very small doses that's ok too! If I don't then I will want even more, sometimes just a bite satisfies! It doesn't have to be hard!! I'm human not perfect! Could I have lost more? Probably but it's progress not perfection!! This is my story my life and I have more to write!!!!!!! 5 DELETE THIS ACCOUNT!, Jennifer Hodge, Debbie3sons and 2 others reacted to this
stept04 465 Posted May 26, 2013 So sorry to hear all you've been through, but it sounds like you've held it together very well, which I'm sure was not easy. Just wanted to extend my sympathy and wish you the best with the rest of your story. Maybe you'll get a break and have some good things happen in your future. God Bless ~~~Stephanie 2 shannonc5460 and Debbie3sons reacted to this

Wolfhoundlady 1 Posted May 31, 2013 I can certainly sympathise with your foot surgery! I broke my ankle 10/08, and have just had my 7th surgery. It has been so frustrating not to be able to walk for 2-3 mo after each surgery! Right now I have been in a w/c for the past 2 mo. It really puts a damper on exercise! I was banded 2 years ago and lost 80 lbs the first year. Have been stuck at that weight since then. If I ever get back on my feet, I am going to loose the remaining 40! 1 shannonc5460 reacted to this
