KAATNS 1,473 Posted May 25, 2013 Once you are cleared by your doctor and feel well enough, you should be able to do any kind of exercise you like. I was back on the treadmill about 2 weeks after surgery. Best wishes to you!
Terry Poperszky 2,784 Posted May 25, 2013 Walking is the universal constant after surgery. Be careful of the reduced calories and don't over do it at first.
labwalker 1,177 Posted May 25, 2013 I agree with walking... it is the easiest form of exercise. You will have a weight lifting restriction after surgery. If you're thinking of joining a gym, clear it with the doctor's office before you start doing anything strenuous.
jfc193 718 Posted May 29, 2013 Walking and Isometrics are what works for me. Be careful and take it easy you have a lifetime ahead of you.
