housemouse 2 Posted May 24, 2013 Were any of you on your cycle for surgery, and was it a problem. I have waited 5 months and guess what is going to show up at surgery time. I don't figure it will be, but just thought I would throw it out there and see if any one had an issue with it.

Nenny101 27 Posted May 24, 2013 Hi there! I'm having my surgery today While I do not have my "monthly" right now, my information just mentioned to wear a pad instead of a tampon for the procedure. Hope this helps! Best of luck

Justaprettyface 45 Posted May 25, 2013 I just had my pre-admission testing, and lucky me, my "friend flow" will be joining me on June 6 th for surgery. Nurse said not a problem, just no tampons. I think I will wear a "depends" LOL. I'm nervous, and ashamed. I've been eating like crap. At least my cravings will be over by surgery date - guess that's good
☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted May 25, 2013 i was just finishing mine up...i wore a pad and some totally unsexy hospital undies..i figure if knows my starting weight 336, i am sure my little period blood wont bother him...try not to worry, surgery is over quick
beanie80 146 Posted May 26, 2013 Being on your period isn't a problem. Make sure to wash well and 'tidy up' down there in case they need to do an in and out cath. Period blood is def. not the grossest thing nurses see. The doc won't see down there at all.
