Tummy Tuck and C Section Cut and Financing

Recommended Posts

I have a bikini c section cut. It looks just like a crease but how does this work when I want to get a Tummy Tuck. Will there be a problem? Also we have something called Care Credit for those who cant afford to pay for the surgery all at once here in Chicago. I dont know if this is all over but what other ways can I finance it. Did insurance by any chance cover you guys. (Fat Chance I know, but I wanted to still ask)

I can't answer all your questions, but I do know that there are insurances that will pay for plastic surgery if it is deemed medically necessary. All you need to do is call your insurance to find out if they cover it if it is "medically necessary". Then find a good qualified surgeon that takes your insurance, and then they can answer your questions about the C-section. Good luck I hope this helps. Oh ask your insurance if you need a referral too.

My insurance will cover a Tummy Tuck an breast redution if deemed necessary- My doctor just needs to document if I have rashed where my belly sags and bak problems from my breast being too big for my size. He has been documenting the rashes I have been getting from being overweight for over a year now, so hopefully when it is time it will all go through :)

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
