itsthatonechick 4 Posted May 23, 2013 I am 10 days post.. I have 3 incisions.. 2 in my belly button and 1 on my side... And have mercy! If I would have known the belly button would have been such a pain to heal I would have went with the regular incisions (he gave me a choice to minimize scarring)
Creekwood 702 Posted May 23, 2013 I wonder why I have five? I have five as well. Also I want to add that I'm two and a half weeks post op and have no discomfort at all from my incisions. I want to scratch them sometimes but that's it! Lol 1 Lizzytish11 reacted to this

Creekwood 702 Posted May 23, 2013 Oh yeah... I definitely know what you mean there... I put like 3-4 pillows and semi-propped myself up. Still wasn't comfortable but I couldn't lay flat, it felt like it was stretching the incisions and they would pop open Lol obviously they wouldn't, but they felt that way. I slept on my stomach first time about 5 days post-op, my side took a few more days. The side was the most uncomfortable at first. For my stomach I would SLOWLY get on all fours and place a pillow where my stomach was going to go and SLOWLY lower myself into the pillow. The pressure actually felt good for some reason. But it took me a while to build the courage to even try. But, it gets better I promise you that! Every day will start being better than the last!!!
itsthatonechick 4 Posted May 23, 2013 Lizzy do you have a body pillow? The pressure does help and that's the only way I could sleep in my bed!! (I'm a side sleeper)
Lizzytish11 25 Posted May 23, 2013 I can slowly ease over on my side. Of course I'm scared to death that something has shifted or slipped. I have to get over that anxiety. Time will help hopefully. I haven't even tried my stomach. To chicken! 1 Creekwood reacted to this
