kerryisme 9 Posted May 24, 2013 Don't be nervous. I am being 100% honest when I say it is nothing compared to what I had expected. The pain is temporary so much good will come from this.
Chazmataz 33 Posted May 25, 2013 I have to go in for surgery Tuesday. So you don't think the pain is that severe? I'm afraid of not waking up but I'm also afraid of the pain. ~~~Stephanie To me it feels also like the inside of my stomach above my belly button where the incisions were made is just badly bruised like from the inside so yes it hurts to cough it's uncomfortable but I've been taking my pain medicine that does help walking around also helps. It's a little bit of a struggle to get up out of the chair but I could definitely do it on my own and it's the day of surgery so I have great expectations that by tomorrow by Sunday even Monday I will feel 75% better and almost completely myself. I know exactly what you mean about being afraid of waking up I think everyone has that fear naturally. When I was in the operating room and the doctor or I should say the anesthesiologist said I'm putting in the medicine to make you go to sleep I actually started crying. But they held my hand and she rubbed it and told me everything was going to be okay, I think it was just a combination of all the emotions, just everything all at once, just hit me and it's completely normal. You will do wonderfully and I honestly feel like this is the best decision I've ever made. 1 kerryisme reacted to this
